WARNING: I ordered this product and expected it to have dual color LEDs as the title says '3200k/5500k' and some of the best reviews say this range can be adjusted. It turns out that the product name "LED-520 3500LM" is ominous and vague, so theoretically you can get a two-tone model or a single-color model. I have a single color model LED-520A. Two-tone will be LED-520B, as indicated in the instructions. A little warning (correct product name in IE and better description) would save me trouble and not delay my project. Worst of all though, there are several of these (long) reviews specific to this product listing that talk about 3200k to 5500k dual color LEDs. These are also the testimonials that Revain finds "most helpful." They completely mislead potential buyers. Only the model (Mycoplus) that lists 3200,000 and 7,500,000 is a two-tone model that costs $30 more when listed entirely separately. These reviews should be moved to the appropriate model (MCOLED520BSET/ASIN: B013K0ZZR4 which does NOT have the same page as an option) and updated to mention 7500k mode instead of 5500k. If a product associated with this list has changed over time, it should be forced to be added back to the list. 3 LEDs light up permanently with maximum brightness, the rest adapts correctly to the control input. Also 1 LED is completely dead. The second fixture works fine but the pure white color temp doesn't work for me as I'm mixing it with another (more expensive) 600 dual color LED video light that I use to give me fine control over to give the desired color temperature. .POSITIVE: It would be unfair to only focus on the issues with this product. The device itself appears to have a great compact design and is very compact for the amount of light it can put out. It's like a toy, but in a good way. The included barn doors are a nice bonus and make a great first impression when you first open them as they arrive fully closed. They sit well in place. Manually controlling the fan isn't necessary in most cases, but gives it some utility even though it's plastic. The remote control is cool. $89 definitely undermines the competition. However, this is a one star rating because not only is the product not as described, but it is also defective. I made my choice out of a desire to save money while getting the same result, but I end up losing. The price you pay for the risk of buying low-priced products through low-priced product suppliers. However, if everything was as expected, this thing would be a steal as the light output per dollar is pretty good. Performance is similar to my $200 flashlight, and you can bet it's better than its competitors for the price. I loved this piece and really wanted to like it. Even at $119 for the Model B, that wouldn't be bad, but after checking the quality I wouldn't hesitate to go back into the $200 range for video-critical tools like lighting. Especially when my more expensive light was rock solid and dependable. CONCLUSIONS: When you understand the value of your time and energy, buying a product you believe in is more important than saving a few bucks. I knew I was taking risks. You almost always do. It is very similar to gambling.
