UPDATE:I'm dropping a star for lack of longevity. I loved this brush at the beginning, but I've only had it for a year and almost all of the nylon bristles have lost the tip that makes it gentle on your scalp. Now the brush hurts to use, scratching into my scalp like talons. Tossing it and buying a different brand.______ORIGINAL REVIEWI'm VERY picky about hair brushes. My hair is long, very fine, and I have a lot of it. It's prone to static, which most of the brushes I've tried exacerbate. I was worried this brush would do the same, but the brush I was using before was 20 years old and starting to miss quite a few bristles. I had to take the plunge. I'm pleased to report that this brush actually smooths my hair rather than sending it flying into the air with static electricity. My only complaint is that it rips out more of my hair than I'd like if my hair is at all tangled. Otherwise, very pleased.
