Review on 🔌 Tripp Lite HDMI Over Cat5/Cat6 Extender: Extended Range Transmitter and Receiver - HD Video and Audio at 1920x1200 1080p 60Hz (B126-1A1) by Cliff Gibs

They worked very well for 30 months and then the receiver failed. I used all Cat6 connections, not 5. I was very happy with the performance but was a bit worried about the initial installation as both units ran quite warm. So not sure what I think of this product as my HDMI extender was $62/year without cables, wall plates etc. I was very pleased but not so much now. I replaced it with a cheaper competitor's product. which are also heated. I couldn't bring myself to buy them again, expecting the same or less results. Likewise, I couldn't bring myself to upgrade to the more expensive Tripp LIte or competing solutions, expecting that if they too lasted the same amount of time or less, I would end up feeling like a real loser.
