Review on IMBAPrice® Line Splitter Noise Filter by Ricky Mayo

We have a working phone line in our house so I installed this DSL splitter/noise filter to keep the voice line parallel to our DSL. The good news is that the noise filter works and the phone line sounds clear and good. The bad news, as some other reviews have reported, is that this slows down our DSL significantly when installed. Yes, it's usually variable, but whatever number comes from speedtest.net when it's set, it's about 2/3 of the value when it's removed. The physics of the matter is that any passive filter will likely slow down the speed, but I don't. I don't think it should be that strong. 3 stars because I can't find any other filter that works better here.
