In the last 2 weeks I have purchased several USB phone cords from 4ft to 10ft including several USB-C to USB-C connectors. Everyone had connection problems. The original Samsung cable that came with the phone worked fine but was too short for my use. This 1.20m "Samsung" USB-A (I think they mean USB 2) to USB Type-C works with no connection problems. It comes in a box labeled Samsung of America, but there's no Samsung branding on the cable itself. It's priced at $15, which seems a bit steep for this rather nifty USB cable compared to others, but it works.
