I bought this to charge my home stereo as so many game controllers and peripherals now charge via USB. I had my entire power supply full of USB plugs and didn't want to buy another large power supply. It's great for powering my Alexa dock, my controller charging docks, my fans to cool my stereo, my rock and everything else I own. connected. I don't use this on a PC so I can't confirm data transfer rates and use it solely for charging, but where many USB hubs fail when switched on because they are passive themselves or are USB powered, this one succeeds as it over has its own dedicated power supply. Reliable product, love it!
