
You wouldn't think a small case holding eight SD cards would be "heavy", but the rubber holding the cards is VERY thick, bordering on lead. You can hurt someone by throwing it at them. It works, but for travel? I ended up leaving it at home and going with a cheap zippered case that weighed a tenth of this thing. Of course, if I could travel in a way that didn't involve lugging all my gear and relying on slave labor, I would take advantage of that. For the average traveler, however, forget it. Too many things that prioritize weight over a lead SD card case (okay, rubberized lead, but still). On a positive note, it appears to be very durable and will likely survive the next apocalypse. I won't, so who cares?
