In original packaging with all documents. Inside is a certificate confirming it will not damage or affect the vehicle's warranty. I installed it on my 2013 Jetta SE 2.5L. I immediately felt a difference in performance and I find that my average MPG has gone up. Installation is pretty easy (you can find a tutorial on YouTube). I highly recommend this filter.
