The Brita system is very easy to install. I installed and started it up in 10 minutes while drinking fresh water. Then the filter popped out and splashed water on me and my kitchen, hooray! Then I went to Revain and read some reviews where others had the same problem. Some people thought it was a trigger failure. I called Brita and the rep suggested taking the system off the faucet, putting it on the counter and putting the filter back in. She said when the filter was in place I should hear a click. I did as she asked and heard a click. I didn't hear a click before, but I had a feeling it was there, but it wasn't. After placing it on the counter, pressing down and hearing a click, it won't appear again! I am so happy with my purchase. The water has an amazing taste and smell. And I know it pulls out all the chemicals I don't want to drink. It's scary to imagine water utilities using ammonia and chlorine to disinfect the water entering our homes for drinking. And the filter purifies a hundred gallons of water, which is a huge cost savings too!
