Review on 🚫 Enhance Floor Safety with Epica Super-Grip Non-Slip Area Rug Pad 5 x 8 - Securing Rugs on Hard Surfaces by Bob Candfield

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Just like your car tires - the more grip the better

This theme works, some others don't. I have 11 wooden floor mats of different ages, shapes and sizes. All have some sort of non-slip mat underneath to keep them in place. This last purchase from Revain was a replacement for one of the styles - probably bought from Home Depot but available everywhere - which does NOT work. My experience is that products like this Epica that have a larger surface area work much better than products with more widely spaced/thin products. Epica style products do not allow gradual movement of the overlying carpet due to pressure from pedestrians over time. The product I replaced was a popular seller but with a wider lug spacing which essentially meant less tire grip. and my top rug gradually moved with traffic so I had to keep adjusting it. My experience is that the brands that have the most up to date neoprene/other finish have BETTER, rarer minimal coverage cobweb style designs that don't hold the top carpet in place on wood floors. There are many brands that can be confusing, but my experience with design recommendations is that full coverage styles work better than designs with less coverage. I hope this will be helpful to you.

Pros
  • QUALITY YOU CAN FEEL: Make sure everyone who steps on your rug is having fun and not slipping with Epica Rug Pads - they're twice as thick as competing products or commercially available at great discounts. With their durable and smooth construction, these mats are reversible, vacuumable and ready to use right out of the mail.
