I haven't had a chance to test this strap yet, but first impressions are good:1. Mounting plate is the same as the Altura Photo Rapid Fire neck strap with quick release buckle and safety cable. So you can attach both the shoulder strap and this wrist strap to the same plate at the same time or just one.2. The wrist strap wraps comfortably around your hand for a secure and comfortable grip. A strap also wraps around the arm to further secure the camera. I can let go of the camera and it won't fall.3. I found that I could hold the camera more comfortably and stably with a heavy telephoto lens than without the wrist strap.4. All materials are sewn together, glue is not visible. Therefore, the tape should hold without breaking. The material of the inside of the strap, the part that touches the hand, is smooth and comfortable. Conclusion: So far I am satisfied with my purchase. I'll update later when I get a chance to use it for day trip photo tours in early October.
