My first plan was to use this product in our bins and diaper bins. However, once they arrived, I realized that it was impossible to put a bag of charcoal in the trash where it really smelled, without literally tossing it in the trash can. I could probably think of a way to attach it to the lid of the jar, but honestly it was too much work for my brain. My next thought was that I was just using this product in the baskets I was packing for winter/baby storage. It's easy to toss when the bin is full, about the size of a regular beanbag but lighter. I've never bought a charcoal air freshener before, and I found myself constantly holding it to my nose, expecting it to ruin a nice smell like scented air fresheners. It's not as advertised. It's taking a little getting used to the fact that I'm not looking for a "nice" smell, I'm actually hoping that when I get back in the bin there won't be any smell at all. Fridge because I accidentally opened it almost immediately after the package arrived and I noticed that the smell of the fridge always annoys me. I've tried baking soda but end up with a mess and/or a clunky box taking up space. One of these bags was nicely hidden behind the oiler and I forgot about it until today (3 days later). I opened the fridge and found there was no smell! Happy. If it lasts as long as advertised and charges then I'd say it's definitely value for money and a good investment. I took off a star simply because if you want to advertise this working for trash cans/nappy bins some ideas on how this works in practice would be great. * I received this product as a trial version at a reduced price.
