Review on 🧙 GAN Magnetic Speed Stickerless Magic Cube by Nicholas Lim

This is my favorite cube at the moment. I started with the original Hasbro Rubik, tried a random Chinese brand and was happy with the Valk cube for a while. It's on another level though---super smooth and so quiet. This is nothing but the whistling sound Hasbro Rubik makes every lap. If I had to compare the volume of each cube, I would say that Hasbro looks like an upstairs roommate in military boots jumping rope, and this cube looks like an upstairs roommate in soft rabbit slippers who is semi-bedridden. I might buy another one as a backup cube. I'm by no means a speedcuber, just a Rubik enthusiast. I love the color contrast, the magnets, the sticker-free design and the matte finish. What I didn't like was the blue carrying case that came with it. The tension is a little loose, but I can handle it. The only other downside was that the cube got quite "oily" from all the grease that was applied at the factory. I was a bit annoyed by the streaks and smudges it left on the matte finish and rubbed madly until the oiliness was gone. But I still love how smooth and quiet it is. I could leave it on my desk at work forever, but was a little concerned that it might magically disappear.
