We recently drove 2000 miles to Washington DC and needed extra cargo space. This canvas topper was nice, not great, but worth the money. It wasn't expensive. He stayed where he was and we were sure everything was fine. BEFORE we had to drive several hundred miles in heavy rain (residue of a tropical storm). The zippers leak, although there are additional flaps to close the zippers. I highly recommend packing everything in plastic garbage bags if you think the pouring rain will catch you by surprise. Otherwise we are happy with the purchase.
