Review on 🖤 De'Longhi EC680M Stainless Steel Metallic Espresso Machine by Robert Larris

I've only had this espresso machine for a week so I know I'm in for a few surprises but it's still been a great week! This was a replacement for a much older Delonghi espresso machine which is still running (over 10 years old) but just wanted an update. much nicer design. The only downside would be the different vibration. My old car was louder but didn't vibrate. The EC680M vibrates so strongly that the filling glass espresso cup moves! (Maybe the heavier cup will stay in place.) So I bought a bath mat and cut it to absorb the vibrations. It wasn't that the vibration was unbearable, it was just that I couldn't take the vibration! As for the reviews that said Delonghi was difficult to deal with, I've only had a fair and timely experience. I had a problem with the coffee maker but it was resolved quickly and honestly. In short, I see a long and happy future with my EC680M! UPDATE: After a few months of making great lattes, espressos, and cappuccinos, the pump seems to be malfunctioning. I've descaled, factory reset, changed the water filter, cleaned every spot I could find, but the espresso barely drips. The blower still works perfectly! I just contacted Delonghi today so I'd love to hear what they recommend. All dealings I have had with the company have been timely and fair so I will update this review when the issue is resolved! LATEST UPDATE: After a long video chat, DeLonghi sent me a new filter basket which fixes the issue. I assumed the problem with the pump was a bad seal preventing the machine from building pressure to force water through the coffee. In short, the problem is solved! It was great working with DeLonghi. I still love this car! TEN MONTHS AFTER: Still working great. I love this machine so much that I am considering buying a spare in case Delonghi changes to a different design/model.
