Review on 🐶 Carlson Pet Products Tuffy Metal Expandable Pet Gate with Small Pet Door, Beige, 24 x 22-38 inch by Lisa Thomas

I spent hours researching the pet gate and finally got this one. I have a small dog, a teacup Morkie (Yorkie/Malesian) who weighs no more than 6 pounds. After rescuing her, I set up the dog guard I already had and she was able to chew through the plastic wire and walk right out. So I jumped on Revane to buy metal gates. The problem is that all other dog guards on Amazon and in stores are slate, wide enough for a small breed dog to walk or climb through. I searched the reviews for keywords like "small breed" or "Yorks" and indeed at every gate there were people who said their little ones could go through the gate or the side of the gate where they are usually wider. The Carlson gate was the only one that didn't have this problem and was also stated to have 1.75" spacing between the slates, so I went with that. I liked that they have different heights too. I didn't want a tall gate because I want my cats to be able to jump in and out of the room to keep the dog company if they want. I don't use the cat door feature as my dog is smaller than my cats, but it's a nice bonus nonetheless. I love how it snaps. Overall I am delighted with this gate, particularly the reasonable price, and would highly recommend it for use with small breed dogs.
