For its intended purpose, this is a fantastic blanket. A NOTICE. This is a lightweight blanket. The loose knit of the fabric makes it very easy to lay on the body. Great as a living room throw or extra duvet for the bottom of the bed. However, I did not find them suitable as the main duvet on my bed with sheet and duvet. It doesn't have the weight to keep my feet warm on cold winter nights. If you suffer from hot flashes, night sweats or don't like a heavy blanket, this is the blanket for you. It will make a decent summer duvet for the bed. Wash and use fabric softener before use to soften the fibers before use - it contains starch or the manufacturer's sizing. Not the softest fiber for a duvet, but somewhere in between. If you suffer from fibromyalgia and have sensitive skin, you may find it too aggressive for bare skin.
