Although sold as new at original price this item was supplied in used condition. It looked like it came in the original packaging, but there were clear signs that this fan was already installed. The power wires were already twisted into nuts, and the remnants of electrical tape remained on them. A few small nuts were also missing. The lamp lens did not fit properly because part of the mounting plate was bent, also from a previous installation. After installation, the device did not work. Nothing. voltage checked. The instructions were followed exactly. The remote control cannot be paired. It is clear that this device was previously installed and returned - probably because it was not working. Addendum: I sent the device back. They charged me a 50% commission for restocking and shipping. This is after I sold myself a used item at a new price. Incredibly bad deal and unhappy customer.
