I have 2 Yorkies. Cody who weighs 7 1/2 pounds and Susie who weighs 5 pounds. As soon as I received the item, Cody jumped in and was delighted. Susie followed him and now they both love it. I was about to buy another one as I didn't think they would both fit in or share it but so far so good. Since I use it for my dogs, I took a cozy sleeping pillow from the top and put it inside. I use the top for their toys that they can reach. It blends in perfectly with the kitchen and is a wonderful addition to the room. Perfect!
