This is amazing. Admittedly, I've never had a beer chicken roaster, but tonight I cooked the best chicken I've ever cooked thanks to this nifty contraption. If you think about it, do it. You will have the best chicken you have ever cooked. It's so juicy and the skin is so crispy. And the best thing I didn't know is that it cooks your chicken faster. My 4-5 lb chicken was only roasted in the oven at 375° for 1 hour and 20 minutes before it was ready to come out of the oven and get some rest. I will never fry chicken without this again!
