Review on 🔍 Holmes White True HEPA Filter by Andrew Vogel

I got a brick HAP1200 probably over 10 years ago. It came with a "lifetime" HEPA filter, which definitely doesn't appear legit then and now. Performance degraded over time, so it was only used as a backup fan for many years. Fast-forward to 2020, when crazy wildfires locked us indoors for over a week. HEPA air purifiers were selling out everywhere, so it was all set, so to speak. I took a chance and found these filters to be a perfect fit! HAP1200 requires 2 filters (and you can mix and match colors/types). Not only did these filters help us get another HEPA, but they kept the unit out of the landfill. Lifetime HEPA isn't a real thing, IMO - the efficiency between old and new filters has been confirmed by our AQI meter, increased flow and very obvious odor reduction. If you have an old Holmes, maybe you can breathe new life into it.
