Not sure if the picture quality would be good or the sound patchy but once I took it out of the box it only had a USB cable. It was very easy to install, just plug it in and Windows 10 automatically recognized it as a webcam and it works great with Skype zoom etc. For 1080p the picture quality is amazing, very sharp and clear. As for the lighting, it's pretty amazing, it can light up almost my entire room just from the light from my monitor. 10/10 recommendation for a cheap webcam. Maybe not as good as the more expensive ones, but under $50 it's probably one of the best.
