You need to mix the ingredients really well beforehand or you won't get a good cure. You must be able to work quickly and mix FULL time according to the manufacturer's instructions. Don't start with your final design. Start testing. Plan to donate at least two 50mL casts to test and study material behavior. People complain that it runs out quickly - Smoothon sells a small canister of heavy/dry inert gas that can be sprayed onto cylinders and stored (probably an argon mix or something). I can't comment too much but I've used gas and no problems so far.
