Review on Wisenvoy Cupcake Ceramic Popover Nonstick Kitchen & Dining by Rob Sanchez

Smaller than stated but bakes well

I purchased the light blue color expecting the cups to be much larger than they are but the measurements given are wrong. The actual length of the pan is approximately 10.5 inches and the width is 7 inches. This article came about while I was looking for large cupcake pans. It actually requires a standard size paper insert. But I think they are very pretty and well made. They are quite heavy, especially when full, so be careful when handling them. They also get and stay very hot. You must let them cool before washing them. I piped the inside of the Baker's Joy and scooped a standard size ice cream batter. Yes, I overfilled the cups because I wanted LARGE cupcake pans again. No standard size. In any case, they don't stick at all when sprayed with Baker's Joy. After baking, I flipped the molds and the cupcakes fell out. Very easy. I did the same thing with my aluminum pan, but I had to run a knife around the edges to separate the muffins. And of course cleaning aluminum is not easy. With these ceramic pots, I simply pour some dish soap and hot water into the cups at breakfast. I was able to wash them without soaking as nothing stuck to the pots. Only cooking spray was left in the cups. I wish they were LARGE or giant so I can make cupcakes the size of Costco cupcakes. In the meantime, I'll settle for these beautiful frying pans.
