Review on Cottonblue Waterproof Mattress Protector Protection by Juan Huerta

I ordered this for a guest bed because of its liquid resistance as some older guests may be unhappy and don't want to discuss this or warn anyone. It fits the size ordered with a fairly thick padding on top. Both sides are made of man-made materials that feel smooth and water-resistant, although I haven't tested how much water the tread can hold. I think it will protect the mattress well and add softness to those who sleep on it. but it's pretty slick and I wonder how often the leaves will need to be repotted when it's in use. There is no way I will be using satin, silk or any other smooth material over this protector as they will slip and likely interfere with sleep. The product I received was a much darker gray than the photos which may not look as good under the white. Sheets or those less than 400 thread count. I have mixed feelings about this product. The color doesn't match the photo and it's really smooth. On the other hand, it's fluffier than most mattress pads and seems like it keeps moisture out of the mattress. So it's more a matter of personal preference. You just have to decide what your priorities are. Overall, this is a durable product that does the job I ordered it for. and since it is in the guest bed, I give it 4 stars.
