Review on D-Link DWA-160: High-Speed Dual Band N600 USB Wi-Fi Network Adapter by Craig Walters

D-Link DWA-160 works well BUT there is no equivalent that can match its capabilities. I have been using the D-Link 655 for many years and it has worked flawlessly. I wanted to upgrade to a system that could stream decent quality movies, so I bought a better multi-channel system. It just doesn't work. We spent 5 times 2-3 hours with D-Link technical support to get the handshake router working with 3 DWA-160 dual band USB adapters. Now I can enjoy constant audio dropouts when streaming. Constant cuts when streaming videos. Now when I want to download a new app I have to take a nap until it finishes because my formerly buggy computer has slowed down. I can't stream videos better than before the BEST UPDATE on the market! I enjoy constant dropouts! Purchasing this D-Link system has allowed me to enjoy the simpler things in life again. Dream. No sense of urgency went away completely. I learned how to take notes and set dates in a notebook. Do I recommend this device and its equivalent? Only if you built it up for a week and then it's done, except for 10% of the usual quality. I'm seriously considering ditching everything new and going back to the 655 router and 111 adapters. D-Link doesn't use this technology.
