Well for a novice welder/plasma torch/TIG this is definitely not a novice welder. There are no instructions or online videos. This is a DC/DC converter welder, which means you cannot weld aluminum. The arc welding cables are too short and won't reach your car when you put it on a lift and try to weld the frame. Tig does it if you want to burn holes in your exhaust pipes, I think I'll need an ammeter to see how wide that amp setting is! (set it to 80 amps but in reality it looks like 130 amps). The plasma cutter works well. Overall not bad for the price, just needs some practice. I've added some useful tables to set up a welding machine for the next chump, I mean a person with no experience. PS 220 works best, you can't use 120V arc welding, it will break the switch. Also buy some #8 titanium oxide tips (RIVERWELD 10N46 #8 1/2") and 3/32 blue tungsten electrodes.
