Review on π¨οΈ IOGEAR GUB231 Black: High-performance 2-Port USB 2.0 Automatic Printer Switch by Robert Hole
ACCORDING TO IOGEAR NOT COMPATIBLE WITH WIN 10
According to the manufacturer this switch is not compatible with WIN 10 and not designed for MF machines. I installed it to connect PC and laptop to HP 8620. Everything went fine, it automatically switches between devices to print, but the scan option doesn't open when I open HP Printer Assistant to scan from PC. The scan option just doesn't show up. When I launch the Print & Scan Doctor, it scans from both it and the HP web app. The scan feature works as intended on a laptop, but I've never been able to get it to work on a PC. IOGear recommended the GUB211 as a compatible option for WIN 10. This is fine as of this writing, let's see how it works.
