I have a baby monitor that needs to be wall mounted so it's difficult to mount it anywhere other than at home. This mount has proven to be a great solution for traveling with a baby monitor, allowing you to use the perfect angles. First off, I know the product description says it is "ONLY" compatible with Motorola or Owlet branded monitors, and I have a non-brand baby monitor, but I still took the risk and got lucky (the mounting screw would become mine camera fit perfectly)! However, I immediately noticed that the tentacle arm was extremely stiff. This might be a useful feature when working with infants, but bending over was quite difficult. Also, the clip is very, very tight. The clips are a bit cushioned but so tight that there is a chance of damaging your furniture (if you plan on using them on a wooden structure). Again, maybe the seal is actually a nice feature because it really protects the camera, but I don't think it's necessary. To be honest this holder came in really handy on a recent trip but then again it's difficult to organize and left marks on the hotel dresser.
