I have bought several phone rings over the years. I keep buying them because I love their performance compared to the bulky pop sockets. With time and wear, the ring will inevitably loosen, indicating it's time to replace it. I've had cases where this happened within 2-3 weeks and some lasted several months. Even on the ones that took months to peel off, I've never experienced metal discoloration like this. It faded within a day or so and the rose gold color started to wear off within the first week or two. On the other hand the glue held like the others I've used and the ring hasn't come loose yet.
