Hello! I bought this cable to replace the factory plug on my Sony 900H. The ultra-flat mounting bracket means my plugs get pressed against the TV, so I figured that would be a good preventive measure. It's the same connection, same wire gauge, just a 90 degree jack/male on both ends. However, the 2-pin socket that fits into the back of the TV doesn't appear to be as secure as it comes from the factory. The jack on this cable is slightly longer (deeper) than the factory plug, so even pushing it all the way into the TV housing causes some wobbling, which I don't like. The TV was a week old when I bought this plug and it randomly restarted with a loud 4 beeps. As both the TV and the plug are new I honestly can't say it's a plug issue - it's only happened 4 times and hasn't been for over 3 weeks. Maybe it was television, maybe it was the city government. Either way, the plug fits, but doesn't feel as secure as the factory plug. Great value, same wire gauge as factory, no idea what you're talking about. So I'm assuming it's a plug-in connection.
