Works great and as described. Suitable for 2.5" or 3.5" SATA hard drives. I originally got this because my Xbox One hard drive reached full capacity within the first week. I did a lot of research and found that a separately powered USB 3.0 SSD would be the best (fastest) way to add more storage to my Xbox One. Internal drives are usually cheaper than external drives, which is why I wanted this dock. Unfortunately, a 1 TB or 2 TB SSD, whether internal or external (if they even exist), is now too expensive. So I temporarily used a spare laptop hard drive and it worked fine, but as soon as I got my hybrid internal hard drive (SSHD) I plugged it in right away. At first I bored it on the computer and it worked. a few seconds. The dock is simply plug and play, so there was no software or anything to install. Then I finally connected it to my Xbox One and it installed very quickly. Of course, it seems to me that my loading time is faster, although I haven't measured it precisely yet. I've actually had several of these docks (of various types) because they are quite cheap in price and I wasn't sure which to prefer. I like that the hard drive stands upright, which allows for better airflow around the hard drive. It also takes up less space, so not as much space as docking stations with a hard drive installed. The dock has a power button, which is handy when I don't need it. I received it at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. And I promise this is my honest review. If I later come across anything other than what I expressed in my review, I will definitely come back to update my review :)
