Review on 🔧 Derale 15747 Engine Spin-On Adapter: Optimize Your Engine's Performance with Easy Installation by Matthew Fadoul

Like the other reviewer, the 15747's finish is terrible. The surfaces should be smooth with no blemishes, but the one I received had bumps, burrs, and casting marks, mostly on the adapter plate. There were a few in the main unit, but they're not as bad as the adapter plate. I have contacted Derale directly to lodge a complaint but have not yet received a response from them. I'll see if I can clean this one up on a lathe and use it if they can't supply a better block, but that wasn't what I had to do. FYI I accidentally ordered block 35747 in black. It arrived and the finish was immaculate, perfect actually, but unfortunately it supported AN-10 ports instead of the 1/2 NPT I needed, so I'm going back to Revain.
