I removed the clutch fan on my 1981 Chevy Luv Diesel (C223 Isuzu engine) and replaced it with this one. I routed the relay power directly to the battery and installed a manual switch in the cab to activate the relay. I've noticed that it doesn't cool as well as a standard fan even though they're relatively the same size, but on sub 85 degree days I don't need a fan at all so this is a huge win as I swear old clutch fan used up 2- 5 hp (the standard motor has 50 hp, so it can be felt). NOTE: Mounting hardware was included with my kit and I purchased it through Amazon Warehouse Deals. Unfortunately my old radiator leaked through the plastic tie when I screwed it in as instructed. Luckily, the leak in the grille REALLY worked. This is a first for me so I'm giving 5 stars for the bars and 4 stars for the fan because it can't keep up with my 2.2 liter diesel in temperatures over 90 degrees and big climbs.
