I purchased this unit after my HP touch tablet told me I needed an OEM charger to charge efficiently. I ordered this product and it worked as intended and normally fully charges my tablet within 2 hours of plugging it into standby. However, you don't need an OEM charger to fully charge your tablet. If you're using an aftermarket charger, you can just turn off the tablet completely and leave it plugged in for about 2 days. After that it can be fully charged and switched on again normally etc. If you regularly use your HP TouchPad on the go, select the OEM version here.
