Doesn't fit perfectly, but works great.
My grandfather ended up having an old 1988 John Deere 420 with an Onan P220G engine. There were spark issues and the new Deere coil was insanely expensive. I read it would work and be a lot cheaper so I gave it a try. It's a little tight but you can adjust it. Works great, one thing before changing the coil make sure your battery is fully charged, turns out mine is very sensitive and if the voltage is a bit low the coil doesn't seem to be working.
