These brown paper bags are actually quite large, slightly larger than the handleless brown paper bags that grocery stores typically carry. In thickness, they make the seam slightly thicker than average. But they still couldn't be filled with anything heavier, like a bunch of cans. If they get wet at all, they'll tear too. I also think it's overpriced, I mean 200 bags for almost $150 which is about 75 cents a bag. I would also like to warn you, 200 of these bags take up a lot of space and come in a fairly heavy oversized box. But overall I'm happy with it. But they are still overpriced.
