That was about a dollar more than the competing clear lid retailer. I'm glad I bought the paints. Even if you don't have other people in the house, I recommend these colors and you'll get a pair of transparent ones. These are worth it. I thought they might be cheap but they are made of good and heavy plastic. They are way better than the ones they replace and way cheaper. We threw away our old ones. Oh, and they snap on and off easily but fit perfectly on Oral B's round head toothbrushes. I also bought some new generic heads for our toothbrushes. We don't need them yet because we just bought the toothbrushes, but I tested them and they fit perfectly too. So for me they are a no-brainer. I recommend.
