These socks are AWESOME! I get SO hot at night and I wear almost nothing to bed so I was worried I wouldn't be able to sleep in them. They actually have a cooling effect and I sleep great in them! I wore my first pair before bed a few nights a week for several months and only bought a spare pair because the smell had gone. I never had to wash them and the gel liner never broke or ripped as I only wore them to sleep (don't know why anyone would walk in them). If you use them like me and don't mind the smell going away, they last VERY long and they were just as comfortable and just as effective at keeping my feet soft and moist as the first time I used them, so I decided to replace them.
