i bleached my hair before use and it was really good at first, a beautiful aubergine purple. I only wash my hair once/twice a week (I have a weird texture that breaks if I wash it more often) but after about 3 weeks (3-6 washes) it started fading and when I stopped fading when I say FADINGGGG I mean the FADINGGGG , to the point where in places it didn't even look like I'd ever put paint on it. so sad. it was very pretty and even smelled nice unlike many other hair dyes, I just really wish it held up better and lasted longer):
