Two items to note:This item was not well packed. One small, fairly tight box with a light duty bubble wrap. The plastic housing arrived damaged, but box looked unharmed.Second note, this item states "Solid wood+Aluminum whiten coating". They failed to mention both ends of the mounting frame are encased with a plastic housing that is simply coated with a aluminum looking paint that I am sure will rub off quickly when cleaning; considering past experience on other items made this way. This did not please me, was not a deal breaker, and the plastic housing is not considered in the structural support. Simply aesthetic use.OK trashing over. I am in a remodel of two bathrooms. The reasons I wanted this item were primarily costs and weight supported if mounted correctly. Secondly the design for mounting including the clean aesthetic value, and finally the color needed to be darker to match the other colors in this small bathroom.Inspecting, the unit came with a mounting plate, instructions, 5 screws, 5 anchors, allen wrench and a spare retaining set screw. Assembly and the mounting was straightforward; for me. I already planned on adding extra support in this mounting area between the wall studs before the finish wall and tile goes up. The distances for mounting do not allow for mounting to more than one wall stud and only one fastener. All other fasteners would be inserted into materials that would not hold in this situation, hence the added support in construction. Plus those screws are questionable as to their tensile strength for the load; in my opinion. I would replace them. If mounting on a mortar or concrete wall the anchors are plastic. I would use higher quality also. Would the provided mounting hold per the stated in the description within the seller's information and mounting instructions. I am assuming they have tested. These are my opinions, I trust the seat design not the mounting hardware for my needs. I have been working within construction for many years and I would want this items to withstand the weights listed and not fail due to my improper installation methods.I am returning for a replacement if I can find one that is in my budget. I am confident this item, if installed correctly, would have provide for the need.
