This is an excellent RAM, better design and quality than the RAM that came with my computer when I bought it new, very easy to install, they will offer it when you upgrade. Your RAM you should get a kit because they work better as they are the same brand it's bullshit that you don't need to buy a kit if you just want to add 2 gigabytes for an extra speed boost as long as the specs are the same just synced ok on my computer i have 3 different brands of ram for a total of 8 gigabytes they work great but if i have a choice i want to put crucial ram in because of the quality its just to see whats critical , has the best quality just lay them side by side and you can see the difference, they look sturdy, I have several computers and they have all been upgraded with critical RAM modules and they all work great so it is imperative to keep the critical ones too use.
