Letters larger than expected

These paper templates are good, but the actual letters are larger than stated. It lists lowercase as 4 inches, but most are taller and wider. For example, the lowercase letters "w" and "m" are 8" x 4" wide, while many others are 5" x 5". Too wide for my project so I sent them back.

Had to punch out lettering. Made out of a cardboard like material. Not reusable

Great stencils to use for painting on wood. However, only a 1-2 time use vs plastic ones.
