This twig garland exceeded my expectations. Unlike other lighted twig type products which are usually just dark brown plastic tape covering a wire stem, this twig garland has been coated with a dark resin like texture that has patches of dark green moss here and there, which is what gives it the realism. It looks great in the daytime, and even better when it's lit at night. The lights are evenly distributed, and each branch of the twig can be bent at whatever angle looks best depending on where you are placing the garland. It has a 6 hours on, 18 hours off timer, so it will turn on every night at the same time and uses three AA batteries. I hid the brown plastic battery pack behind the base of one of the candlesticks. Like any battery operated lighting product, I will probably have to change the batteries about every two weeks, but it's worth it for the beautiful warmth the garland gives to our mantle.
