Review on πŸ–₯️ LG 34WN80C-B 34-Inch UltraWide Monitor - 3440x1440P, Curved, Tilt/Height Adjustable, Enhanced Connectivity Compatibility by Leonard Bryan

Revainrating 3 out of 5

*NEVER* buy monitors from Revain stock (obsolete)

Ok, so why am I writing this review. Well I've bought two of these monitors in the past and I really like them. I use them daily and usually give the monitor 5 stars. But this third monitor I was going to buy I decided to stock Revain (refurbished) to save $100. boy it was a mistake I am literally on my fourth monitor that was sent to me with malfunctions and I will be returning everything and buying a new one. The first monitor I received was shot with a red tint. Most of the time it was in overdrive and everything was either pink or red. I've reset the monitor, changed settings, changed cables, tried everything I could think of to no avail. I *note* that the monitor was said to have been used for over 1800 hours (I just opened the box) so someone who worked hard used it until something went wrong and returned it. Obviously the camp doesn't actually "check" these things, it just turns them on and says "Yes, the screen is on". I sent this back for an exchange. The second monitor that arrived even had a different part number (the difference was the one I ordered had a USB-C connector and this monitor they sent didn't. Model) was missing the -B on End). Couldn't use it with my MacBook Pro. Tested with an HDMI cable from another laptop so it looked ok but no USB-C interface. he went back. The third monitor had the correct connections, had a scratch around the edges (but the back looked like it had been dragged somewhere). I did a quick look at usage and only found about 43 hours. Connected and happy! About 15 minutes when the screen went off. I've played around with it, changed cables, turned it off, etc. Was pissed off and left it unplugged. After 10 minutes I tried again and voila, everything worked! For about 15 minutes, then turned off again. I did this two more times to make sure something inside the monitor didn't match (overheated part, cold soldering, something else, who knows). I really wanted it to work as I was tired of not having a monitor but eventually gave up and sent it back. Mind you, this has been going on for a month now. Even with fast shipping etc. it takes time in life to get them to a UPS store, find out that USPS is 'slow' and 'deliver' when they really aren't, etc. On the fourth (and the last monitor that I take care of the camp). Everything was looking good again this time until I noticed that the timer on the monitor read over 1800 hours. and the blush is back. I think they sent me the monitor I sent them the first time. I give up.
