I have an elderly minpin (6 lbs) who generally hates wearing sweaters even when it's very cold out. It's a fight to get her in a coat when it's snowing. Because this has a step-in design where you don't have to fiddle with pulling paws through an arm opening, I decided to give it a try. She cooperated by stepping in and the zipper is very sturdy and quick. She's been wearing it all winter - a huge success for her. Now, when I pull it out and lay it on the couch, she steps onto the arm openings and asks me to zip her in. I wish there were more color options. The fabric is stiff but still fluffy and doesn't attract lint or hair too much (short hair dog though).
