
The usual method of completing these connections is to strip and apply approximately 0.5 inch of insulation from the ignition wire and then crimp the terminal over the wire/insulation. It's fast and convenient. messy and results in an unreliable connector that will fail over time. I was actually going to solder a wire to the connector and the product photos clearly showed that they were made of brass. I was very disappointed when I received them, which actually they are not, brass but they were still solderable so I'm giving them 4 stars. Also I've used this on a Honda GX series engine although this case doesn't like it looks like a standard package and does not contain a 4.5 kΩ resistor. However, I wanted a hotter spark and this was the cheapest way. Now the engine runs better than ever.
