After buying a few cables that did NOT work, I was ready to ditch my old VGA-only computer that had seen better days and to throw away. The original monitor was shot up and my old computer was a junkyard until I found this wonderful cable. After getting burned by buying so many other cables that didn't work, I had a lot of doubts at first. But I took a chance and bought it based on all the good reviews I read on this list. The cable arrived on time. The instructions that came with the cable were followed well and there was no problem installing and setting it up. To my surprise, when I turned on my old computer connected to a brand new ViewSonic flat panel ---> it worked! I'm really impressed and thank you for bringing new life to an old aging computer I was willing to give up! Perfect! Five stars! Highly recommended!
