Review on Bellrino Cosmetology Mannequin Manikin Training Hair Care : Hair Extensions, Wigs & Accessories by Rachel Polk

Let me first say that I didn't order this doll because I expected her to look like a human. No mannequin is like working with a human head. I didn't expect that neither the amount of hair nor the size/shape of the head would be like a real person. For these reasons, I rate it on how it compares to other mannequins, not how closely it replicates a real person. I give the product 5 stars. I got my space license 2 years ago but I still buy heads to practice new techniques. This head was better than the ones I can buy at the local Armstrong store and way better than the ones we had at school. Hair was smooth and soft. her face looks weird but I don't really care about her face. the hair length looks exactly like the picture, i had to trim off some of the excess ends but not as much as the dolls i used to have. Easily bleached, washed, dried, straightened and colored hair. I used the 40 Volume Bleach Developer and her hair held up very well, again better than dolls I've used in the past. I will order this doll again. It suits my needs perfectly.
