This is great! I'm a cosmetology student and I think this mannequin is amazing! Her hair is very beautiful and quite thick. The hair also looks very healthy. I curled her hair and the curls hold up really well. There was sort of a fear of lice where I thought she had lice but turned out she didn't. (thank goodness) I also got off the phone with the woman who works for this company and she was very nice and understanding! I love this product and will definitely order from Bellrino again!

As a beautician, I understand that hair comes from poor countries, but I would like to hope that the lice are pulled out of the hair before it is sold to people. I hate seeing dead lice in my hair and I found a few in this mannequin head. I think she will be back in the box!

I gave this product 4 stars for the fast shipping and the excellent packaging. The only thing is, my mannequin has a red spot on her cheek, it can be cleaned, so that's good. For first time users of this mannequin, the hair can be brown to black if you want to lighten or color your hair. I sometimes use L'Oreal hair dye and leave it on for a good 30 minutes to lighten the color. For bleach, use a volume of 20 or 30. 40 damages hair, I've done this with this doll before. This is the second one I've ordered. They are good quality with great hair. I am a cosmetology student and this is a great purchase for students. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because this particular order was for a mannequin to be delivered to the boards and I can't use it due to a missing hairline which looks like the center part isn't allowed for boards.

I liked that the hair was clean and free of unwanted guests. I liked that the product matched the description. I didn't like the hassle involved in replacing hair, so this product has a very limited lifespan to learn how to use in styling and trimming. Next time it'll definitely be a convertible chignon!

Very nice mannequin head, I will definitely buy more. Yes, it's human hair! It can handle fairly high temperatures on my hot instruments without giving off that weird smell that most heads have when they're synthetic or blended. I haven't bleached or dyed it yet, but I'll experiment soon. Love love love this! UPDATE: I used bleach and my hair is still intact. It didn't melt, fall or break. I've added 30 Volume Developer to the Mix if you're interested. All in all I still love this mannequin!

Very disappointed with this doll head. I'm a beauty student so I need to buy quality dolls that can withstand heat and chemicals. I have many friends who have bought this from the same seller with no problems. However, mine melts at any heating temperature. I haven't tried coloring it because I'm afraid it will completely ruin my doll. Unfortunately I cut her hair before I knew she couldn't handle the heat or I would have returned it.

Let me first say that I didn't order this doll because I expected her to look like a human. No mannequin is like working with a human head. I didn't expect that neither the amount of hair nor the size/shape of the head would be like a real person. For these reasons, I rate it on how it compares to other mannequins, not how closely it replicates a real person. I give the product 5 stars.
